Rebecca Kinkead's style has been called whimsical, carefree and fearless. She uses crayola bright colors; layering, dripping and scraping paint and soft wax on the canvas. Her inspiration comes from what she calls "a collective memory, those little moments of ecstasy or triumph we all have in childhood." Her figures have no facial features or expressions, yet they convey great emotion and allow the viewer to see and feel somthing of him or her self in the work.
