David Lewin

David Lewin has been a practicing artist since 1978. He received a B.A. in Printmaking from San Francisco State University in 1978 and his Masters in Fine Arts in Printmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1981. Lewin has done a considerable amount of teaching in his career in the U.S. as well as internationally. Some of his teaching background is as follows: Instructor of Glass and Art at Cumberland County College Instructor of 3D Design at Glasboro State College in New Jersey Print Instructor at the De Young Museum Art School in San Francisco Lewin has also been a recipient of a Fellowship at the Creative Glass Center of America at Wheaton Village in Millville, New Jersey and received a NEA Regional Grant. His work has been documented in several publications some of which are The Philadelphia Enquirer, American Craft, Corning New Glass Review 6, The Yomiuri Newspaper (Tokyo, Japan) and The Weekly Post, a nationally distributed Japanese magazine.
